Kerolia the Frolicsome

Kerolia the Frolicsome was released as part of the Beyond the Brave expansion, a set designed to diversify low-level card interactions within the tactical gameplay ecosystem. Created during a period when the game developers sought to emphasize whimsical character designs alongside mechanical utility, the card served as a common-rarity entry intended to provide players with accessible defensive utility for early-game board states.

The card’s illustration was crafted by the long-standing art team tasked with establishing the aesthetic identity of the Beyond the Brave series, focusing on a playful, fluid character design that contrasted with the more rigid, armored motifs common to the set's high-rarity cards. Upon its release, it was well-received by the community as a reliable staple for budget-conscious deck builders, often cited for its clean, efficient design that favored clarity and ease of play.
