Kozmo Goodwitch

Kozmo Goodwitch was introduced in the Premium Gold: Infinite Gold set, released in 2016. The card is a central piece of the Kozmo archetype, which uniquely fuses the aesthetic and narrative elements of The Wizard of Oz with the high-octane visual style of Star Wars. Within the game's mechanics, the Kozmo monsters are designed to tag-out into larger versions of themselves, reflecting a sophisticated control strategy that rewards players for managing a deck of light- and dark-attributed psychic machines.

The artwork for the card depicts a futuristic, armored take on the Wicked Witch of the West, maintaining the sleek, metallic design language consistent with the rest of the archetype. As a Secret Rare, the card features the high-quality foiling process characteristic of the Premium Gold line. Upon its release, it was well-received by competitive players for its ability to negate card effects, providing a vital defensive utility that helped anchor the Kozmo archetype as a dominant force in the professional Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament scene during that era.
