Lady of Faith

Lady of Faith was released as part of the Metal Raiders booster set, which debuted in the North American market in 2002. As one of the early expansions for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, Metal Raiders played a pivotal role in establishing the game's initial competitive landscape by introducing iconic cards and mechanics that expanded upon the foundations set by the Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon. The card itself represents the shift toward bringing Japanese-exclusive content to a global audience during the height of the franchise's international surge in popularity.

The design of Lady of Faith draws from the fantasy-aesthetic typical of the series' early normal monsters, characterized by simple, archetypal visuals intended to flesh out the game's lore. Like many common-rarity monsters from this era, it was intended to serve as accessible padding for deck construction during the game's formative years. While it lacks the competitive impact of the high-rarity cards found in the same set, it remains a nostalgic piece of the game's history, reflecting the illustrative style of Konami's original design team.
