Lost Wind

Lost Wind was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the 2017 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, which served as a compilation of cards from sets released over the preceding year, such as Breakers of Shadow and High-Speed Riders. As a trap card, it was designed to provide players with a versatile tool for negation, specifically targeting special summoned monsters to reset their effects and halve their original attack points.

The design of the card emphasizes a tactical utility that became a staple in competitive play. Illustratively, it reflects the high-fantasy aesthetic common to the franchise, depicting a swirling, ethereal gust that conveys the card's disruptive nature. Upon its release, it was well-received by the community for its ability to be activated from the graveyard, offering players recurring value that helped define its status as a reliable rare-rarity card in various deck builds.
