Mage Power

Mage Power was originally released as a Secret Rare in the Magician's Force expansion in 2003, later appearing as a Rare in the Champion Pack: Game Six in 2007. This card functions as an Equip Spell that grants the equipped monster an attack and defense boost based on the number of spells and traps the player controls, reflecting the game's shift toward rewarding board presence and backrow management during the early competitive era.

The card features artwork depicting a stylized, glowing staff of arcane origin, consistent with the high-fantasy aesthetic prevalent in the early Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. While the design is attributed to the broader team at Konami and Studio Dice, the card remains notable among collectors for its inclusion in the Champion Pack series, which were reward items distributed primarily through organized play programs rather than traditional retail booster boxes.
