Maryokutai

Maryokutai was released as part of the Labyrinth of Nightmare booster set in 2002, a landmark expansion that introduced the concept of continuous spell cards and ritual support to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. As a Common card, it was widely available to players during the early years of the game's international expansion, reflecting the typical aesthetic of the era where monster designs often drew from fantastical and slightly unsettling occult motifs.
