Master Peace, the True Dracoslayer

Master Peace, the True Dracoslayer was released in 2016 as part of The Dark Illusion booster set. It represents a pivotal figure in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game lore, serving as the central protagonist of the True Draco archetype. The design reflects the meta-narrative of the series, depicting a character empowered by the 'Dracoslayer' legacy to combat the Dracoverlord threat during a period of complex overarching storytelling in the game's official lore.

The card was designed to be a high-impact boss monster, featuring an innovative ability that allowed players to tribute summon it using continuous spell or trap cards. Upon its release, it became a cornerstone of competitive play due to its powerful board-clearing effects and high survivability. The card's aesthetic, characterized by intricate metallic armor and draconic motifs, was crafted to evoke a sense of finality and immense power, leading to its widespread recognition among tournament players as one of the most formidable monsters of its era.
