Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack

Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2013 as a core component of the Mecha Phantom Beast archetype. The design draws inspiration from classic mecha anime tropes, featuring a high-tech, dragon-like mechanical construct capable of generating token support. It was originally conceptualized by the game's designers at Konami to define the rank 7 Xyz summoning engine, emphasizing resource management through the creation of mechanical tokens that mirror the monster's metallic aesthetic.

The reprint in The Infinity Chasers (INCH-EN051) brought this once-dominant competitive staple to a new generation of players. Upon its initial release, the card was highly sought after due to its powerful board-clearing capabilities and defensive utility, which made it a centerpiece in the competitive meta of the era. The Super Rare printing in The Infinity Chasers maintains the technical, industrial art style consistent with the machine-type monsters of the Mecha Phantom Beast line, catering to both players utilizing its synergy and collectors focused on mechanical-themed archetypes.
