Meteonis Drytron

Meteonis Drytron was introduced in the 2020 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game set Genesis Impact. This set was designed to introduce three distinct archetypes—Drytron, Evil Eye, and Magistus—to the competitive landscape. As a ritual spell, Meteonis Drytron was created to fundamentally alter the ritual summoning mechanic by allowing players to utilize the attack points of machines on the field or in the graveyard instead of traditional level-based requirements.

The visual design of the card reflects the aesthetic identity of the Drytron archetype, which draws heavily from celestial and mechanical motifs. By integrating constellations into its mechanical art style, the design team aimed to convey a sense of cosmic power.
