Mystic Horseman

The Mystic Horseman debuted in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Starter Deck: Kaiba, released in the early 2000s to coincide with the popularity of the anime series. Designed as a common normal monster, it served as a foundational card for new players to fill out their decks while echoing the aggressive, power-focused aesthetic of the character Seto Kaiba. Its inclusion reflected the game's initial focus on accessible, low-level monsters that bolstered the early card pool during the hobby's global expansion.
