Nimble Beaver

Nimble Beaver was released as part of OTS Tournament Pack 20 in 2022, a set distributed exclusively through Official Tournament Stores to support local competitive play. The card belongs to the long-standing 'Nimble' archetype, a series of water-attribute, beast-type monsters that rely on summoning copies of themselves from the deck to facilitate link or rank-2 xyz plays. Within the meta-game, this card is particularly valued for its ability to special summon a Nimble monster from the graveyard upon being summoned, making it an essential resource for boards that require immediate monster presence.

The card features artwork consistent with the whimsical yet aquatic aesthetic of the Nimble series, characterized by playful animal designs. As a Super Rare card within a promotional tournament pack, it features a distinct glossy finish that differentiates it from the common variants found in standard core booster sets. While the artist for the specific illustration is part of the internal Konami studio design team, the card's reception is defined by its utility in competitive Yu-Gi-Oh!, where its efficiency as an engine piece has maintained its relevance across several seasons of play.
