Number C15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Hunter

Number C15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Hunter was released as part of the Legendary Duelists: Season 3 collection, which focused on consolidating support for popular archetypes from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL and GX series. This specific card represents an upgraded version of the original Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder, a monster famously utilized by the antagonist Quattro in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. The design aesthetic draws heavily from gothic, mechanical marionette imagery, reflecting Quattro's penchant for theatrical and often unsettling dueling strategies.

The card was designed to function as an Xyz monster, requiring a Rank-Up-Magic spell to be summoned, which aligns with the strategic narrative of the show where stronger versions of key monsters define pivotal duels. While the card is a common rarity in this set, its inclusion was welcomed by collectors and players looking to complete the specific Gimmick Puppet archetype. Its reception is primarily defined by its utility within the Puppet deck, as it maintains the dark, intricate artistic style established during the ZEXAL era of the game.
