Performapal Salutiger

Performapal Salutiger was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the 2016 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, serving as a reprint of the card originally featured in the Clash of Rebellions set. This card belongs to the Performapal archetype, a signature series used by the character Yuya Sakaki in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V animated series. The design of these cards frequently incorporates a circus-themed aesthetic, characterized by vibrant, whimsical creature designs intended to reflect the performative nature of the user's dueling style.

The card was designed to support the mechanics of the Performapal deck by facilitating the search of specific monster types, specifically those with high ATK values. During its release, the Performapal engine was a dominant force in the competitive landscape, and this particular common-rarity print provided players with an accessible way to complete their collections. It is widely viewed by enthusiasts as a functional utility piece that captures the colorful, high-energy art direction established by the game's creative team during the Arc-V era.
