Photon Veil

Photon Veil was originally released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a common card within Astral Pack Two, which debuted in 2012. These packs were primarily distributed as prize support for tournament participants, serving as a curated collection of reprints designed to improve card availability for competitive players during the Zexal era of the game.

The card itself features artwork consistent with the Light-attribute, space-themed motif of the Photon archetype introduced in the Generation Force booster set. Designed to facilitate the search and retrieval of specific monsters from the deck to the hand, the card focuses on the strategic consistency required for light-based strategies. As a common rarity print within the Astral Pack series, it was intended as a utilitarian inclusion rather than a collector's showpiece, reflecting the functional aesthetic prioritized by the game's designers at the time.
