Provenance

Where it came from

Hysteric Party was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a support card specifically designed for the Harpie archetype. First appearing in the Magician's Force set, it serves as a powerful graveyard recursion tool, allowing players to discard one card to special summon any number of Harpie Ladies from their graveyard. This mechanic solidified its role as a cornerstone of Harpie-based strategies, enabling explosive plays that capitalize on the swarm potential of the theme.

The reprint in Astral Pack Two, released around 2012, was part of a tournament-exclusive series that showcased select cards with an aesthetic focus on the high-level competitive meta of the time. The card's artwork, which depicts the Harpie Lady trio in a celebratory, chaotic fashion, remains consistent with the whimsical yet aggressive nature of the Harpie set. While the Astral Pack version was provided as a common rarity for tournament participants, its inclusion in such a curated set reflects the enduring utility and popularity of the card in competitive play.
