Progleo was introduced as part of the promotional card set for the 2019 video game Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution. Designed to bolster the game’s initial release on the Nintendo Switch, these cards were intended to provide players with physical versions of monsters frequently utilized by the protagonist, Yusaku Fujiki, within the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS animated series. The card features the distinct Cyberse-type aesthetic characteristic of the era, emphasizing the transition of the game into the Link Summoning mechanics.
