Pseudo Space

Pseudo Space was released in 2016 as part of the Machine Reactor Structure Deck, a set centered on the Ancient Gear archetype. It was designed as a Field Spell card to provide players with a strategic utility: by banishing a Field Spell from the graveyard, the player can copy that card's name and effects until the end of the turn. This mechanic allows for tactical flexibility, enabling players to adapt to the board state by accessing different environmental bonuses throughout a duel.

The card’s illustration depicts a surreal, distorted landscape that aligns with the theme of artificial or reconstructed environments prevalent in the set’s mechanical aesthetic. While it is a common rarity card, it gained recognition in the competitive community for its unique ability to circumvent the limitations of traditional Field Spell usage, allowing for interesting interactions in decks that rely on multiple different field cards or require specific graveyard setup.
