Psychic Wheeleder

Psychic Wheeleder was originally introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Savage Strike booster set in 2019, before being reprinted as an Ultra Rare in the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories Mega Pack. Designed as a Level 3 tuner monster, it was crafted to support Psychic-type strategies by offering easy special summoning conditions if a Level 3 monster is already present on the field. This card reflects the mechanical focus of its era, which heavily favored streamlined synchro summoning techniques and swarming the field to reach high-level boss monsters.

The card was conceptualized by the design team at Konami to enhance the consistency of decks centered around the Psychic archetype. Its aesthetic features a mechanical, gear-driven motif consistent with the set's wider industrial and futuristic visual language. Upon its release, it was well-received by competitive players for its utility as a reliable combo extender, becoming a staple in various Synchro-based decks due to its ability to destroy an opponent's monster when sent to the graveyard for a Synchro summon.
