Pursuit Chaser

Pursuit Chaser was released in the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game set Crossroads of Chaos. The set was designed to introduce a variety of new archetypes and support cards to the competitive meta, reflecting the evolving mechanics of the GX era. As a common-rarity card, it served as a functional piece of the set's broader design, intended to expand the utility of machine-type decks through its specific effect, which allows it to attack multiple times under certain conditions.

The card was illustrated and produced by Konami as part of their ongoing effort to keep the game's mechanics dynamic. Like many cards in the Crossroads of Chaos release, Pursuit Chaser captures the aesthetic shift toward more aggressive, machine-based monster designs that characterized that stage of the game's development. While it did not reach the status of a staple, it remains a recognized example of the period's card design philosophy, focusing on situational power-ups for lower-level monsters.
