Purushaddoll Aeon

Purushaddoll Aeon was first introduced as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the 2017 Mega-Tin Mega Pack. This set functioned as a compilation release, designed to repackage popular cards from the previous year's major booster sets, such as Dragons of Legend: Unleashed and Invasion: Vengeance, offering players a second opportunity to obtain key pieces for their decks. The card itself belongs to the Shaddoll archetype, a series of DARK Spellcaster-type monsters that revolve around graveyard manipulation and flip-summoning effects, which have remained a staple of competitive play since their debut.

The card was illustrated with the dark, ornate aesthetic characteristic of the Shaddoll line, which typically features puppets infused with shadowy energy. Designed by the creative teams at Konami, the artwork for this archetype is often cited for its gothic, unsettling visual language. As a common rarity card in the 2017 Mega-Tin, Purushaddoll Aeon was widely accessible to the player base, serving as a tactical utility tool rather than a collector's centerpiece, and was primarily valued for its specific synergy within Shaddoll-focused strategies.
