Rainbow Flower

Rainbow Flower was originally released in the Metal Raiders expansion, the second major set introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in early 2002. As part of the early TCG lineup, it mirrored the OCG's Booster Pack release strategy, helping to expand the card pool during the game's initial surge in popularity. The card was designed as a low-level effect monster, fitting into the aesthetic of whimsical, nature-themed creatures that populated the early sets.

The card’s artwork reflects the distinct style of the early Konami development era, where card illustrations often featured fantastical organic designs with bold outlines. As a common rarity card, it was widely accessible to players during the game's formative years, often serving as a filler card in casual decks. While it never rose to competitive prominence, it remains a nostalgic piece of the Metal Raiders set, which is historically significant for introducing essential support cards and staple mechanics to the growing TCG ecosystem.
