Rebellion

Rebellion was released as part of the Millennium Pack in 2016, a set designed to evoke the nostalgia of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime by featuring cards primarily used by characters during the series' foundational arcs. This set served as a bridge for long-time players to acquire modern, playable versions of cards that were historically tied to key narrative moments, often updating the mechanics to fit the speed and complexity of the contemporary Trading Card Game.

The card’s design and illustration draw directly from its appearance in the original series, intended to capture the dramatic flair of a 'spell' card that shifts the tide of a duel. As an Ultra Rare, it features a distinct holographic foil treatment, making it a sought-after piece for collectors who focus on the aesthetic history of the game. Upon its release, it was received as a flavorful addition for fans of the source material, balancing its role as a decorative collector's item with functional utility in specific deck builds.
