Rescue Hamster

Rescue Hamster was released as part of the 2014 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game expansion The New Challengers. This set was notable for introducing the Pendulum Summoning mechanic to the broader Western metagame, following its debut in the Starter Deck: Pendulum Domination. As a Pendulum Monster, Rescue Hamster was designed to support the burgeoning Pendulum strategy, allowing players to recover specific resources from their Extra Deck to bolster their field presence.

The card’s illustration follows the stylistic lineage of the Rescue series, which includes well-known predecessors such as Rescue Cat and Rescue Rabbit.
