Ryu-Kishin

Ryu-Kishin was released as part of the Starter Deck: Kaiba in 2002, marking the initial wave of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in North America. This deck was designed to introduce players to the mechanics of the game while showcasing the signature monsters favored by Seto Kaiba, the primary antagonist of the original manga and anime series. As a common monster card, it served as accessible filler for beginners learning to balance their decks with low-level creatures.

The creature is depicted as a demonic, winged entity, consistent with the dark and aggressive aesthetic often associated with Kaiba's monster selection. Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of the franchise, established the visual language of these early cards by blending gothic fantasy with mechanical elements.
