Scrubbed Raid

Scrubbed Raid was released in the Duelist Pack: Yusei 2 set in early 2010. This set was designed to reflect the deck themes and strategies used by Yusei Fudo in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series, providing players with cards that supported the Synchro Summoning mechanics central to that era of the game. The card itself serves as a defensive trap, allowing players to pay life points to return a face-up card to the hand, offering a flexible way to disrupt an opponent's field presence.

The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, utilizing the visual language of high-tech or mechanical motifs characteristic of the 5D's era. As a Super Rare card, it was distributed within booster packs, where its design aimed to balance competitive utility with the thematic role of defensive utility cards in the series. It has historically been regarded as a niche utility card, often utilized in specific engine-based decks that benefit from bouncing cards for repeated use or disruption.
