Shark Caesar

Shark Caesar was introduced in the 2013 expansion set Judgment of the Light as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It belongs to the Umi-themed archetype utilized by the character Reginald Kastle, known as Shark, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal anime series. The design reflects the series' focus on water-attribute monsters, utilizing an aggressive, predatory aesthetic that aligns with the character's signature deck strategy.

The card was designed by Konami as a Rank 3 Xyz Monster, intended to provide strategic utility for players utilizing Level 3 Water monsters. Within the context of the game's mechanics, it was created to reward players for the successful destruction of opponent cards, offering a recursive effect that facilitates further offensive maneuvers. Like many commons in the Judgment of the Light set, it was primarily distributed as a reliable staple for players looking to bolster their Water-attribute lineups without the rarity constraints of higher-tier cards.
