Spiritual Beast Rampengu

Spiritual Beast Rampengu was released in 2024 as part of the Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge set, a collection designed to import long-awaited support cards for legacy archetypes into the English-language game. This monster belongs to the Ritual Beast sub-archetype, originally introduced in the Duel Terminal narrative arc, which emphasizes tag-team mechanics between monsters of different types. Its release serves to modernize the strategy by providing specialized utility that fits within the established lore and playstyle of the theme.

The card features an effect rooted in the tactical resource management characteristic of the Ritual Beast deck, focusing on graveyard manipulation and card banishing. The design reflects the aesthetic of the Duel Terminal world, characterized by fusion-based motifs and ethereal, spiritual animal designs. As an Ultra Rare within the Terminal Revenge set, it was intended as a functional and collectible piece for players seeking to optimize their Ritual Beast decks with recent support that was previously exclusive to the Japanese market.
