Synchro Material

Synchro Material was originally released as a common card in OTS Tournament Pack 11, a set distributed exclusively through Konami’s Official Tournament Store program. Introduced to support the burgeoning Synchro Summoning mechanics of the era, the card allows a player to treat an opponent's face-up monster as a Tuner, effectively enabling the player to perform a Synchro Summon using the opponent's resources.

The design reflects the tactical, interaction-heavy nature of mid-era Yu-Gi-Oh! gameplay, where cards were often crafted to provide niche counter-strategies against specific board states. While the card did not see widespread competitive dominance, it remains a notable example of the creative utility effects designed to bridge the gap between players and their opponents' strategies during the mid-2010s.
