Test Bear

Test Bear was released as part of the Supreme Darkness booster set in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Introduced within the Gladiator Beast archetype, the card serves as a specialized support piece designed to facilitate the complex summoning mechanics required to bring out the deck's high-level fusions. Its design reflects the aggressive, combat-oriented aesthetic of the Gladiator Beast monsters, which are known for their ability to tag out and replace themselves during the battle phase.

The card was illustrated to fit the theme of a training companion within the Gladiator Beast arena. Like many cards in the Supreme Darkness set, its rarity as a Secret Rare was intended to highlight its utility for competitive players seeking to optimize their deck consistency. Upon its arrival, the card was received as a functional necessity for enthusiasts of the archetype, appreciated for its specific role in enabling quicker access to the strategy's primary win conditions.
