Test Panther

The Test Panther card was featured as part of the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories, a collection designed to consolidate various high-demand cards from the preceding year's core booster sets. This specific release acted as a reprint anthology, allowing players to acquire popular Link Monsters and support cards that had been influential in the competitive metagame. By including cards like Test Panther, the manufacturer provided a more accessible path for duelists to strengthen their Gladiatorial Beast decks, which relied on the card's ability to search for key spells.

The design of Test Panther reflects the established aesthetic of the Gladiatorial Beast archetype, known for its focus on tag-out mechanics and tactical versatility. As a Link-2 monster, its visual design incorporates the familiar metallic and feline motifs characteristic of the series, intended to evoke a sense of agility and technical precision. Upon its release in this mega-pack format, it was well-received by the player base for its utility in modern deck building, providing essential consistency for a long-standing fan-favorite archetype.
