Tiger Axe

Tiger Axe was originally introduced in the earliest days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, appearing in the 2002 Metal Raiders expansion. It serves as a representative of the game's initial era, where simple, aggressive monster designs were common. The card depicts a bipedal tiger brandishing a battle axe, reflecting the fantasy-inspired aesthetic that defined the core monster roster during the series' debut.

The version from the Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World Mega Pack, released in 2013, serves as a nostalgic reprint. This collection was specifically curated to celebrate the signature cards used by the character Joey Wheeler throughout the anime series. As a common rarity card within this set, it provides collectors with an accessible way to hold a piece of the game's foundational history, maintaining the original artwork and flavor text that established its place in the early meta.
