Vylon Ohm

Vylon Ohm was released as part of the Battle Pack 3: Monster League set, which debuted in 2014. This specific release was designed to facilitate the 'sealed play' format, where players build decks from randomized booster packs rather than established collections. The card originates from the Vylon archetype, a series of light-attribute monsters centered around equip spells and mechanical, angelic aesthetics that first appeared in the Duel Terminal series of arcade-integrated trading card sets.

The design of the Vylon archetype reflects a high-fantasy, science-fiction hybrid aesthetic, characterized by angular, metallic armor and floating energy components. Vylon Ohm specifically features the thematic hallmarks of the set, emphasizing its utility as a machine-type monster with an effect intended to manipulate equip spells on the field. While the card is a common rarity and served primarily as a functional piece within the Battle Pack drafting environment, it remains a notable example of the Vylon aesthetic's transition from the Japanese arcade-only format to the global trading card game audience.
