Wattrain

Wattrain was introduced in the Chaos Impact booster set, which was released by Konami in late 2019 as a core expansion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. As a common rarity spell card, it was designed to provide specific support for the Watt archetype, a collection of cards themed around electric-type monsters that debuted several years prior in the Shining Darkness set. The card allows players to add multiple Watt monsters from their deck to their hand based on the number of monsters their opponent controls, reflecting the archetype's high-speed, disruptive playstyle.

The card’s illustration and mechanical design were developed by the Konami design team to synergize with the existing Thunder-type monster pool.
