Provenance

Where it came from

The Where Arf Thou? spell card was introduced as part of the Justice Hunters expansion set, a collection themed around canine-inspired archetypes and tactical support cards. Released as a rare, the card was designed to function as a search engine for low-level creatures, reflecting the set’s focus on swarming mechanics and rapid deck thinning.

The illustration features a whimsical, lighthearted aesthetic consistent with the set's humorous tone, depicting an iconic dog character in a state of search. It was well-received by competitive players for its utility in consistency-focused strategies, becoming a staple tool for deck builders who prioritize specific monster retrieval during the early phases of play.
