Witty Phantom

Witty Phantom was released in 2002 as part of the Starter Deck: Yugi, which served as a foundational entry point for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in North America. The deck was designed to mirror the cards used by the protagonist Yugi Muto in the early episodes of the original anime series. Inclusion in this deck provided players with a reliable, mid-level normal monster that required a tribute to summon, reflecting the game's early mechanical focus on managing resource costs during field development.
