Worm Solid

Worm Solid was released as part of the Duel Terminal 3 expansion in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The Duel Terminal series introduced a unique interactive experience, originally utilizing arcade machines in Japan that read digital-coded cards to simulate duels. This set focused heavily on the 'Worm' archetype, a collection of Reptile-type monsters characterized by their alien, biological design language and extraterrestrial thematic motifs.

The design of the Worm cards reflects a specific mid-2000s aesthetic shift within the game, aiming to create cohesive, synergistic archetypes with shared mechanical identities.
