Xyz Reborn

Xyz Reborn was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the 2013 Judgment of the Light booster set, later appearing as a reprint in the Amazing Defenders set. The card was designed to support Xyz-focused strategies by allowing a player to target a monster in their graveyard, special summon it, and then attach the trap card itself to that monster as an Xyz Material. This utility solidified its role as a versatile defensive and recovery tool for duelists.

The card’s illustration and mechanical design were crafted to emphasize the recursive nature of the Xyz summoning mechanic, which relies heavily on gathering specific materials.
