ZW - Sylphid Wing

The Sylphid Wing card was introduced in the Brothers of Legend booster set, released in late 2021 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set was designed to bring a collection of previously unreleased cards from the Japanese OCG (Official Card Game) into the Western market, primarily focusing on cards that appeared in various animated series. Sylphid Wing serves as a support card for the Wind-attribute theme, reflecting the long-standing tradition of the game’s developers to flesh out specific elemental archetypes through supplemental releases.

The visual design of the card, featuring ethereal, winged motifs, aligns with the aesthetic conventions of the game's high-fantasy art style. As an Ultra Rare card within the BROL set, it features the characteristic foil treatment that distinguishes it from lower-rarity counterparts. While it is not a centerpiece of competitive play, its inclusion in the set was aimed at providing collectors and casual players with thematic utility, following the established design language of Konami’s extensive card library.
