3-nen C-Gumi 14-Ban Kubozono Chiyoko no Nyuukaku

3-nen C-Gumi 14-ban Kubozono Chiyoko no Nyuukaku is a 1982 Japanese television drama broadcast by TBS. It serves as a notable entry in the long-running 3-nen C-gumi series, which was a cultural staple of the era, focusing on the social dynamics, academic pressures, and personal development of students within a Japanese middle school classroom. The series drew inspiration from the sensibilities of youth-oriented dramas of the time, emphasizing themes of adolescence and student-teacher relationships.

The production sought to capture the anxieties and milestones of the early 1980s Japanese school experience through the perspective of the titular character, Chiyoko Kubozono. Directed and produced with the domestic television market in mind, the series utilized a sentimental and realistic tone that resonated with contemporary audiences. It is regarded by television historians as a snapshot of the cultural expectations placed upon middle schoolers during Japan's bubble era, contributing to the broader legacy of the 'school drama' genre in Japanese broadcasting.
