4th Project (Provisional Title)

The 4th Project, currently known under the provisional title used by Studio TRIGGER, represents the studio's ongoing commitment to high-energy, original animation. Emerging from the creative nucleus of Hiroyuki Imaishi and Masahiko Otsuka, the project continues the studio's signature visual style that prioritizes kinetic movement and bold, experimental composition. It serves as a continuation of their ethos of maintaining creative independence while pushing the technical boundaries of cel-shaded and traditional hand-drawn aesthetics.

The design philosophy behind this work centers on the studio's hallmark approach to character-driven storytelling, heavily influenced by the team's long-standing collaboration with character designer Sushio. By focusing on exaggerated silhouettes and a vibrant color palette, the team aims to recapture the visceral impact seen in their earlier breakout hits. While details remain guarded to manage audience expectations, the project is framed by the studio as an evolution of their internal process, meant to bridge the gap between their legacy works and new thematic explorations.
