A Day Before Us 2nd Season

A Day Before Us is a South Korean animated web series produced by the studio LICO, a subsidiary of Naver Webtoon. The second season continues the story of the four main characters as they navigate the complexities of university life, romance, and friendship. It was created to capitalize on the popularity of the original webtoon, focusing on a visually soft, aesthetic-driven animation style that emphasizes emotional resonance and character-driven narratives.

The design of the series is noted for its distinctive, watercolor-inspired art style and gentle color palette, which align with the cozy, slice-of-life tone favored by LICO productions. Upon its release, the series garnered a dedicated following, particularly among international audiences who gravitated toward its slow-burn storytelling and relatability. It stands as a notable example of the studio's effort to adapt digital comic formats into engaging short-form animation.
