There is something very dangerous about planet Omega 13. Whatever it is, it's been killing Advancers sent out, one by one, to investigate. The Domestic Union of Arms is perplexed, so top DUA officer Mugal decides to give the job to the most dangerous, most independent, and most expendable Advancer they could find.
They find such an Advancer in the renegade Tina Owens. Currently incarcerated with a 2,000 year sentence for blowing up a planet, she is given a tempting offer. Instead of rotting in her cell, if she'll go to Omega 13, find and destroy any threats on the planet, and determine any exploitable resources for the Allied Earth Government, they'll let her go.
Knowing how dangerous Omega 13 appears to be (and thinking about what has yet to be discovered), how would you decide? Tina takes the job, and she sets off for the planet.

Where it came from
Advancer Tina was released in 1996 as a self-contained original video animation produced by Studio Green Bunny. Emerging during the height of the 1990s direct-to-video anime boom, the project was designed to capitalize on the popularity of the sci-fi adventure genre. It functioned as a standalone experimental work, typical of the niche production houses of the era that focused on shorter, high-concept formats to capture the interest of the growing home video market.
The animation reflects the aesthetic sensibilities of the mid-nineties, characterized by bold character designs and a focus on dynamic action sequences. Studio Green Bunny aimed to create a visually engaging experience that leaned into the tropes of early cybernetic themes prevalent in the domestic Japanese market. While the title remained relatively obscure internationally, it is recognized by collectors as a representative example of the era's independent production style and the experimental spirit that defined the mid-90s OVA landscape.
