Alderamin on the Sky

Alderamin on the Sky, or Nejimaki Seirei Senki, was produced by the acclaimed studio Madhouse and premiered in 2016. The series is based on the light novel sequence written by Bokuto Uno and illustrated by Sanbasou. Set in a world where humanity is locked in a prolonged war with the Katjvarna Empire, the narrative centers on Ikta Solork, a brilliant but lazy young strategist, and his companions as they navigate the complexities of military command and political upheaval.

The adaptation was directed by Tetsuo Ichimura, who sought to balance the series' tactical military engagements with the personal development of its protagonists.
