Anitore! EX: Jigoku no Training

Anitore! EX: Jigoku no Training is a 2016 special released as a follow-up to the Anitore! EX television anime series produced by studio Rising Force. This genre of 'exercise anime' was designed to encourage viewers to participate in physical fitness routines alongside the characters, blending elements of the idol-training trope with instructional workout content. The production sought to build engagement through direct address, where animated characters perform exercises while offering encouragement to the audience.

The character designs and animation style maintain the aesthetic established in the main series, focusing on a bright, high-energy visual tone consistent with typical mid-2010s slice-of-life and niche hobby-focused anime. While the franchise itself represents a specific experiment in combining media consumption with lifestyle coaching, this special serves as an extension of the broader campaign to promote fitness through popular animation tropes. It was received primarily by a niche audience of franchise fans who engaged with the series as both a narrative work and a functional fitness tool.
