Another Lady Innocent

Another Lady Innocent is a three-part original video animation series released in 2005 by Studio ARMS. The project serves as a follow-up to the 2002 series Lady Innocent, continuing the dark, supernatural, and gothic aesthetic that defined the studio's output during this period. It was produced for an audience already familiar with the grim tone of the original installment, focusing on mature thematic elements and the complex interplay between its central characters within an occult-influenced setting.

The production relied on the stylistic sensibilities common to mid-2000s mid-tier OVA releases, emphasizing detailed character designs and a moody atmosphere to differentiate the series from more mainstream action animation. While the series did not reach the broad critical acclaim of genre-defining titles, it remains a notable example of the boutique horror-fantasy niche that Studio ARMS occupied. It is remembered primarily by collectors of early 2000s independent animation who appreciate the specific dark-fantasy tropes prevalent in that era of Japanese home video production.
