AOTU Xueyuan 2

AOTU Xueyuan 2 is a spin-off ONA series produced by 7doc, serving as a comedic companion to their primary franchise, Aotu World. Released to expand upon the lives of the contestants outside of the intense tournament setting, this installment focuses on a school-life parody format. The series was developed to deepen fan engagement with the expansive cast by placing them in mundane, lighthearted academic situations that contrast sharply with the high-stakes narrative of the main show.

The animation style retains the distinctive, vibrant 3D aesthetic characteristic of the studio's broader Aotu brand, prioritizing expressive character acting to suit the comedic tone. By transitioning the characters into an academy setting, the design team aimed to highlight the personalities and interpersonal dynamics of the ensemble cast. The series was well-received by the existing Aotu World fanbase, who appreciated the opportunity to see their favorite characters in a more relaxed and humor-focused context.
