Bai Gui Youeryuan 2

Bai Gui Youeryuan 2 is a sequel in the Chinese animated web series produced by the studio Painting Dream. Following the success of the original series, this installment continues to explore themes centered around the charming and often supernatural-leaning lives of young characters in a preschool setting. It draws on the aesthetic of traditional Chinese animation fused with contemporary web-series pacing to reach a younger digital-native audience.

The production design reflects a shift toward clean, simplified character silhouettes and vibrant color palettes that became a hallmark of the studio's visual identity during this period. The series was developed as part of an effort to modernize domestic animation, focusing on a balance between whimsy and narrative simplicity. It received a warm reception from viewers who appreciated its distinct visual style and its lighthearted approach to the daily experiences of its cast.
