Bakuon!! originated as a seinen manga series by Mimana Orimoto, which began serialization in 2011 before being adapted into a twelve-episode television anime series by TMS Entertainment in 2016. The series follows a group of high school students who join their school's motorcycle club, blending slice-of-life comedy with a genuine appreciation for motorcycle culture. It was produced during a period of rising interest in hobby-focused anime, aiming to demystify the biking world for a broader audience while highlighting the specific characteristics of various iconic motorcycle models.
