Battle Break

Battle Break was released in 2011 as a short-form original net animation produced by OLM, Inc. It was created as part of an experimental initiative to explore high-octane, action-oriented storytelling within the digital distribution landscape that was becoming increasingly prominent for anime studios at the time. The project served as a creative showcase for the studio's technical capabilities in integrating dynamic 3D elements with traditional 2D animation techniques.

The visual design and directorial approach were crafted to evoke the intensity of competitive combat media, emphasizing fluid movement and rapid-fire visual effects. While the project was conceived as a standalone technical exercise rather than a long-running series, it is noted by animation enthusiasts for its polished aesthetic and the studio’s attempt to bridge the gap between video game-style kinetics and cinematic storytelling, reflecting the industry's broader shift toward digital-first release strategies.
