Where it came from
Be Vague is a short film project that emerged from the independent experimental cinema circuit, characterized by its non-linear narrative and abstract visual language. It was conceived as a meditation on the limitations of language and memory, utilizing minimalist cinematography to strip away exposition in favor of visceral, atmospheric storytelling.
The film was directed by a collaborative team focused on the deconstruction of traditional cinematic tropes. Upon its limited festival release, it received critical attention primarily for its unconventional editing techniques and its refusal to provide a definitive plot, positioning it as a polarizing but respected entry within the genre of avant-garde short-form cinema.
